Greg Sullivan sent me photos of his new bike … the Green Machine!

Here’s some more images from our most excellent adventure from Kennebunkport to Provincetown and back …
… in a 1973 VW. Special thanx to Gale Force Bikes.
So I went down to the “Provincetown Rocks: The Festival” with cousin Mike and Danielle in his recently purchased ‘73 VW. What a trip, great time had by all and a perfect weekend (sun!). Camped Friday and Saturday night at Coastal Acres with a bunch of friends, ate great food and even had a few beers.
It was a bit a a throwback for me, because I used to go to Thayer Street (Boston) and see bands and drink beer way back in the 80’s. Plus seeing the “Sisters of Morphne” (aka “Elastic Waist Band”) brought back a flood of memories. I used to talk to Mark Sandman about bowling on TV, local & regional, we loved some of the commentary as well as the phases they used to describe the remaining pin positions. Seeing the Dogmatics definitely took me back some 25 years … when Boston was a lot funner, louder and edgier. Great Time! Does anyone remember seeing the Blackouts on Thayer Street – way back? Thanx Joey for the illustrated comic and story (you’re the official festival MC!).

We – Danielle, Mike & I – went to see Deer Tick at Space Gallery but it was canceled, so we walked around Portland, ME on a rainy night. We went to Geno’s, Local 188, and Amigo’s.
… a good time had by all. *I had the steamed clams for lunch … Mmmm.
Kennebunkport, ME – So I had an great day yesterday with friend Liam Crotty out on his 19′ Mako. We went out for couple of hours, the highlight of the day was catching a whopper of a Mackerel. It was a marathon of a battle and an exhausting fight, but after what seemed hours I was able to reel in the big one …
I hope to make it into the next issue of Sport Fishing Magazine.
