I went to see the band Hole at The Jackie Gleason Theater/Fillmore-Miami Beach last night. Not bad and from the looks of things everyone seemed to be having a good time, Foxy Shazam opened the show up with a real bang! …

Today, Mike (MNT) & I decided to go get some BBQ/Lunch, just up the road …

up to 34th & NE Miami Ave, at BBQ-2-go …

Mark (owner, and ex-Reverend) was busy at his spot, where he’s been since January 2010. Did mention how good it was? … (very good!)

Today I went on a “field trip” with Liam, out to Jackie Gleason’s mausoleum …

a “pilgrimage” of sorts …

… located at Our Lady of Mercy, out by the edge of the everglades (all the way past the Miami Airport)

Had a blast, as it is something I’ve wanted to do for awhile (as long as I’ve been in Miami – 13 years), great respect for him …

Although I think we may have gotten in a little bit of trouble with the nuns, by taking a few photos …

… No harm meant, just paying homage to “The Great One”!

Had some friends, Peggy and Andy from Boston, in town for a week …

Good time had by all …

… here we are acting like tourists and dancing on the tables at Opa.
